Want to amp up your knowledge of the comic world while in Chicago? Look no further than the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. Known as C2E2, this conference invites all fans of comic, entertainment and gaming industries to the Windy City Mar 22 – 24. Whether you’re a seasoned fan or a fresh follower, this event welcomes guests with all levels of interest to join together for the love of comics.
Pop culture fans, Otaku (anime fans) and comic book lovers won’t want to miss Chicago’s Comic & Entertainment Expo this Mar 22 – 24. Fans can enter the C2E2 event starting at 10a.m. at the South Building at McCormick Place and will be able to meet with some of their favorite superheroes. Comic guests include Chris Claremont (X-Men), Afua Richardson (Black Panther) and Andrea Broccardo (Star Wars). Some A-list entertainment guests include David Tennant & Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf). These are just a few of the stars that will be at C2E2. The C2E2 has curated four specialty sections of its show to accommodate all sorts of fans. Artists and fanart creators will love Artist Alley which is a “creative melting pot” of all things artistic. Meet the ingenious artists behind comic books, graphic novels and artistic creations. If cosplay is more your thing, then be sure to check out Cosplay Central! From workshops to costume changing rooms for last minute touch-ups, there’s something for everyone (even if you’re new to cosplay)! Feel free to take a selfie in your gear with the cool photoshoot area they’ll have set up. Parents, you’ll be a superhero when you take the family to the Family HQ section. Here kiddos can play with endless LEGOs and meet their favorite Star Wars’ characters. With drawing workshops, interactive activities and live performances, parents will feel like a kid again! And The Loop celebrates local Chicago creators and vendors. With specialty vendors that embrace the true Chicago scene, visitors will be able to sample the city in one convenient area.

C2E2 2019 badges are available online here. Friday’s badge is $30, Saturday’s costs $45 and Sunday’s will cost $40.
